Andrew J. Lopez is a California licensed attorney who serves as Of Counsel to LLF | LOPEZ LAW FIRM, PLLC. As Steve's brother, Andrew brings a unique partnership to the firm's personal injury practice. He handles pre-trial injury matters and is admitted pro hac vice in Texas for trials, allowing the Lopez brothers to provide seamless representation from initial consultation through courtroom advocacy. Together, they have collected millions of dollars for injured Texans, combining Andrew's California legal expertise with Steve's Board-Certified trial skills and deep knowledge of Texas courts. This powerful collaboration ensures clients receive comprehensive, strategic representation at every stage of their personal injury case.
Amanda Zapata
Senior Paralegal
Amanda has been with Steve for over 6 years, serving as the backbone of day-to-day operations and client relations. She holds an Associate's in Applied Science in Legal Professions with a Paralegal Specialty from Del Mar College and is a Certified Administrative Assistant from Southern Careers Institute. As a Notary Public for the State of Texas and an Army mom with two sons in their 20s, Amanda brings dedication, discipline, and heart to everything she does. Her approach is simple: "I want you to feel heard and prioritized. More than anything, I want you to know that you aren't in this alone—we are on your side, and we will be relentless in doing exactly what is necessary to achieve your goals." She finds it most rewarding to take complex, overwhelming legal challenges and transform them into clear, actionable paths for clients. The team is a chosen family, committed to lifting each other up no matter how heavy the day feels. Outside work, Amanda unwinds at the beach, reading, crocheting, coloring, doing puzzles, hiking, camping, and traveling—with dreams of visiting Ireland and Australia. She's a Green Bay Packers fan (thanks to her Wisconsin roots), loves Virginia's on the Bay, and shares her home with three rescue cats. Her motto: Carpe diem.
Halle Navarro
Office Administrator
Halle is often the first face clients see when they walk through the door. With an Associate's degree in Business Administration and a commission as a Notary Public in the State of Texas, Halle blends professionalism with a warm, welcoming presence that sets the tone for each client's experience. She strives to create a safe, comfortable space where clients feel heard, respected, and confident that their challenges will be handled with compassion and sincerity. Her personal motto—"Treat others how you want to be treated"—guides how she interacts with everyone who steps into the office. Outside of work, Halle enjoys crafting, drawing, painting, going to the gym, spending time at the beach, and browsing thrift and antique shops. She unwinds with good meals with family and movie time with her child. Dog mom to Bonnie, a beagle who howls on command and gets the zoomies. Reggae and indie music lover with dreams of visiting Greece or New Zealand.
Katelyn
Law Clerk
Katelyn is a graduate of St. Mary's University and St. Mary's University School of Law, taking the bar exam in 2027. She assists with legal drafting, research, and client relations pending licensure with the State Bar of Texas. Katelyn provides valuable support in case coordination, client communication, and administrative matters to help deliver outstanding legal services.
